The end of August includes a very special day for fans of Michael Jackson. On the 29th, fans can come together to celebrate and honor Jackson, on his birthday. The singer would have turned 68 years old, this year. Here at MJVibe, we have come up with some ideas for you to commemorate the special day. Known for a passion for the environment and wildlife, spend Aug. 29 connecting yourself with nature. To give you some ideas to especially channel Jackson’s passion, try tree climbing (while being safe)! or displaying sunflowers, his favorite flowers.
With a wide variety of pets throughout his life, Jackson’s love for wildlife is no secret. Some ways that you can channel this are by spending time with a pet, watching local species wherever you may be located or even visiting a wildlife rehabilitation center to learn more about protecting species.

While known around the world as one of the greatest entertainers of all time, Jackson was not only passionate about music, but also about helping others and giving back.
Jackson donated to a number of charities and causes throughout his lifetime, frequently visited hospitals and orphanages, and was recognized by the Guinness World Records in the year 2000 for achieving the record of “Most charities supported by a pop star.”
To honor Jackson’s legacy of humanitarianism, spend some time giving back by volunteering with a charitable organization or showing your support through a donation.

- Try a new recipe in the kitchen
When it comes to birthdays, sometimes people will celebrate by enjoying a special meal or a favorite food or recipe with family or friends. Spend his special day this year by trying something new in the kitchen and cooking up one of Jackson’s favorite recipes.
