Japanese fans will have another Michael Jackson publication to add to their collection this month.
Leading Japanese music magazine Rockin’On has announced that its latest issue will feature a major special dedicated to Michael, timed to coincide with the Japanese theatrical release of the biopic Michael on June 12.
According to the magazine, the feature includes a complete review of the upcoming film, a lengthy interview in which Michael reflects on his life and career, reviews of all twelve of his studio albums, and an extensive look back at the remarkable story of the King of Pop. The publication promises to explore both the “magic and truth” behind the artist who changed popular music forever.
As an added bonus for collectors, the issue will also include a double-sided color poster dedicated to Michael.
The magazine is scheduled for release in Japan on June 5 and joins a growing list of Japanese publications highlighting Michael and the upcoming biopic in recent weeks.
