A major cast transition is underway at MJ The Musical on Broadway, as Tavon Olds-Sample prepares to take his final bow in the production. The talented performer, who originated the role of “Middle Michael,” will conclude his celebrated run on May 31.
Olds-Sample has been a standout, bringing remarkable precision, charisma, and emotional depth to the portrayal of Michael Jackson during a pivotal period of his life. His performance has been widely praised for capturing both the artistry and intensity that defined Michael Jackson’s rise.
Stepping into the role next is Brandon Lee Harris, who joins the Broadway company following a stellar run on the MJ National Tour. Harris will officially assume the role of Middle Michael beginning July 7, bringing with him the experience and energy that impressed audiences across the country.
