French magazine Paris Match has released today a brand-new special issue dedicated to Michael Jackson as part of its “À la Une” collection.
Titled “Michael Jackson, avant le biopic, le vrai film de sa vie” (“Michael Jackson, before the biopic, the real film of his life”), the publication clearly aims to capitalize on the growing global attention surrounding the upcoming biographical film Michael.
Known for its impactful imagery and headline-driven storytelling, Paris Match has long built a reputation on blending journalism with a strong dose of sensationalism, particularly when covering high-profile figures like Michael Jackson. This latest issue appears to follow that tradition, promising a dramatic retelling of the King of Pop’s life.
While the full editorial content remains to be explored, the title alone suggests a narrative positioning itself as the “real story” ahead of the Hollywood interpretation, an angle that will likely spark discussion among fans and observers alike.
The special issue is available now in France at a price of €8.90.
With the buzz surrounding the upcoming biopic continuing to grow, it’s no surprise to see mainstream media revisiting Michael Jackson’s life story, once again highlighting the enduring fascination with one of the most iconic entertainers in history.

Jaafar Jackson is as close to Michael as anyone I’ve ever seen and heard. He is so meek when interviewed but he has the Jackson family traits and is a fantastic performer.
Do people need to reserve tickets to Michael biopic?
I was very, very impressed with Jaafar. He did an absolute tremendous job. I have been in tears just watching the trailers. I will never forget the night I watched Michael do the moon walk. Now Im a grand mother and when she was 5, we sat out under the tree and turn on the camera and she would sing enjoy yourself with me. I graduated in 1983 with Beat It. I always requested a Michael song at the club. I see an I scar coming. I think it would be great if a series could be produce to continue the legacy. The song goes ” Dont stop till you get enough”, but you can never get enough of Michael Jackson.
