Let’s go right to the US where while “Thriller” is losing momentum, as the biggest selling album is now at #114 in the Billboard 200 Albums, #23 in the Billboard Album Sales and #11 in the Billboard Vinyls, “Billie Jean” is going up being at #113 in the Billboard Global 200 Tracks and #118 in Billboard Global 200 Tracks excluding the US.
In the UK, “Billie Jean” has been certified 5x Platinum, selling over 3,000,000 units! “Number Ones” is back in the Top 100 Albums at #7. Meanwhile, “The Essential Michael Jackson” dropped to #93. In the Top 100 Streaming Album, “Number Ones” is at #13 and “The Essential Michael Jackson” is at #75. In the Top 100 Physical Albums, “Number Ones” is re-entering at #8 and in the Top 40 Vinyl Albums, “Number Ones” re-entered at #4. “Number Ones” is also at #59 in the Top 100 Digital. In the Top 50 Music Video, “Moonwalker” is up to #13 and “Live At Wembley” is also up to #15.
In Ireland, “Number Ones” re-entered the Top 100 Albums at #12 when “The Essential Michael Jackson” has fallen out of the chart.
In the Netherlands, “Number Ones” Re-entered the Top 100 Albums at #18 when “Thriller” dropped to #45. “Number Ones” also re-entered the Top 40 Vinyls at #3.
In Belgium, “Thriller” is at #77 and “BAD” at #95 in the Flanders’ Top 200 Albums and “Thriller” is at #67 and “BAD” at #172 in the Wallony’s Top 200 Albums.
In Germany, great news as “Dirty Diana” has just been certified Gold, selling over 300,000 units! “Number Ones” re-entered the Top 100 Albums at #7 and “Thriller” is down of 23 spots to be at #77.
In Switzerland, “Thriller” is at #72 in the Top 100 Albums.
In Sweden, “Thriller” re-entered the Top 60 Albums at #55.
In Greece, “Thriller” is at #24 and “BAD” at #72 in the Top 100 Albums.
In Italy, “Number Ones” re-entered the Top 100 Albums at #40 while “Thriller” is at #89. “Number Ones” also re-entered the Top 20 Physical at #5.
In Australia, “Thriller” is at #34 in the Top 50 Catalogue Albums and #20 in the Top 20 Vinyls.
