The Estate just released Michael Jackson’s “Dangerous” on 2LP 33 RPM and SACD which is now on pre-sale and to be released in July 25 through Mobile FIdelity.
So after “Thriller” and “Off The Wall” in this formats, “Dangerous” is the next, despite we are celebrating “HIStory”‘s 30th Anniversary this year – Who said the Estate had some common sense?
Count to pay $34.99 for the SACD and $59.99 for the vinyl. However, I feel disappointed that the vinyl is not coming in a UD1S 180g 33RPM SuperVinyl LP Box Set like the “Thriller” and “Off The Wall” ones as it seems the attention to later Michael Jackson Work seems less important to either the Estate or Mofi?

I hope they follow the pattern and release the 4K short films for dangerous era to boost sales of the mofi like Off the wall , and in part the same vibe of Thriller 40
