Scream album debuts at Number 9 in the UK

It’s Friday! Which means it’s chart time! and this week, Michael features not once, but twice on the UK top 100 albums.

Scream, the new collection of previously released material makes its official debut at Number 9 marking Michael’s 18th UK top 10 album release (this includes Greatest Hits packages from both Epic and Motown).

Elsewhere in Europe (whilst we await results), Scream did not fare so well, reaching 47 in Germany and 38 in Italy; two countries where all Michael releases, including Greatest Hits usually do a lot better.

Also on the UK charts this week, the stalwart Michael Jackson’s Number Ones climbed 9 places to number 36 continue the successful run of the record that Michael released 14 years ago!
