Michael Jackson at the New Madame Tussauds’ New Delhi

The 23rd branch of the so famous museum has just opened on December 1st in New Delhi, India!

And of course the biggest star on the planet is part of the wax artworks that visitors can take selfies with!

To mark the India-UK Year of Culture in 2017, Merlin Entertainment has opened a new branch of the international wax museum, Madame Tussauds, in New Delhi.

The iconic Regal building in Connaught Place has been chosen as the location of the India’s very own the Madame Tussauds museum that will be spread over two floors with 50 life-like wax figures of celebrities from India and the world. The museum has waxworks of personalities from different fields such as; sports, Bollywood, history & leaders, Hollywood and music. This new attraction is part of a wider recreation and entertainment zone planned for the city, which is set to be bolstered by further amenities catering for tourists. read more

Fuzzball for sale!

A new Auction will take place on December 16 but this time, it’s all about Disney! In this Auction you will find 100s of items, posters, staff costumes, signs, manuals, props and so on and as part of Disney, Captain Eo is there too!

The most exciting item is the actual Fuzzball!

(Disney, c.1986) An original radio-controlled animatronic puppet of Fuzzball used during the creation of the film “Captain EO”. This prop includes a signed letter by Rick Baker, certifying the authenticity of the item. The letter reads, “Having personally inspected this piece, I can certify that it is an original radio controlled Fuzzball puppet, created by my studio for the production of the motion picture Captain EO”. This puppet is composed of various materials including foam and latex, and was animated via remote control for the film. The puppet comes displayed in a custom frame box along with imagery from the film and an engraved plaque. The puppet measures approximately 18″ tall, including the tail, and is in very good condition with some minor wear from use. read more

Japan gets a pin ball slot machine this December

The Estate of Michael Jackson has signed a deal with Sankyo, a company that does pin ball machines which use lighting, visual, balls and music! And now Michael has one called “Fever Michael Jackson”!

“BAD”, “Beat It”, “Smooth Criminal”, “Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough”, “Billie Jean”, “Jam” and “Thriller” made it to the different levels of the fame machine with multiple references to the King of Pop such as the Toaster, the Moonwalk, 777 and so on! read more

Moonwalking While Slacklining

Theo Sanson, a professional slackliner and a french athlete, moonwalked on a slackline between two cliffs of France.
Inspired by his idol Michael Jackson, Sanson undertook the risk of dancing on the slackline to pay tribute to the pop legend. He will release the complete moonwalk project once ready.

Earlier, Sanson set a record by slacklining for about 500 meters between The Rectory to Castleton Tower in Castle Valley, Utah. The project has been named ‘Across the Skies.’ According to Sanson, it has been one of the most ambitious and important projects he has performed in his lifetime. read more
