People usually say Halloween is a Michael Jackson night but I disagree. Every day (& night) is a Michael Jackson night and here’s why.
Most MJ fans don’t realise that Michael Jackson is charting somewhere every day of the year and that’s exactly why I created MJ Chart Data account on Twitter.
I also update my followers on a daily stream numbers on YouTube because guess what? He currently has 4 short films charting on YouTubes “Todays Most Viewed Daily Videos” chart and here’s how it goes.
#147 Smooth Criminal – 508,188 views
#185 Billie Jean – 460,170 views
#256 They Don’t Care About Us – 367,700 views
#288 Beat It – 340,212 views
His total views on official Michael Jackson YouTube channel stands at 8,596,949,337 views. (not bad for a “muted” artist if you ask me 🤷♂️).
Before we get to this week’s albums charts etc. I’d also like to say that Michael currently has 23,763,289 million monthly listeners on Spotify. That’s more than any other artist from his era on the platform… (I’ll let you decide which era you’d like to call it “his” 70s, 80s or 90s).
This week on “Official UK Albums Chart Top 100” Number Ones holds #40 spot (#42 last week). I think general public love this album… and when I say love I mean LOVEEE because it’s currently charting in 82 countries on iTunes. Top 100 in 56 countries & Top 10 in 4 countries.
Album is also charting on “UK Official Albums Streaming Chart Top 100” and it stands at #29.
Now, let’s move on to Billboard Charts. I’d like to start with the fact that Thriller has now officially spent 9 YEARS on Top Catalog Albums Chart & It’s currently stands on #43. That’s not all. The Essential Michael Jackson is also charting & holds #31 spot.
Both albums are also charting on Billboard 200 Albums Chart:
#144 – Thriller.
#126 – The Essential Michael Jackson.
Thriller is ALSO charting on US Vinyl Albums and it jumped 2 spots this week. Album currently stands at #13.
