Happy Birthday “BAD”

On August 31, 1987, Michael Jackson released is 7th (Lucky Number) album!

Hard to beat “Thriller” but “BAD” is clearly a master piece of the music industry and will make Michael Jackson one of the biggest super star in the 80s and will influence a full new generation of artists! Actually, Michael got the title of Mega Pop Star by the end of the Bad Tour and the release of 9 singles (Out of 11 tracks on the album, not bad! LOL)!

It is hard to believe this was 30 years exactly date to date! But BAD has some of the most remembered songs of Michael and are still in people minds today like “Man In The Mirror” or “Smooth Criminal”

Bad is also the first album where Michael express his feeling against the press with “Leave Me Alone” and got on tour solo for the first time!

Bad made history as being the first album to have five of its singles peak at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 consecutively, as “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You”, “Bad”, “The Way You Make Me Feel”, “Man in the Mirror” and “Dirty Diana” all charted at number one on the music chart. The record has still not been surpassed.

Anyway, Just watch “BAD25 Documentary” from Spike Lee – Nothing more to say than “Happy Birthday BAD!” – Enjoy the music, the dance and the videos!
