Why not take part in the 10th annual worldwide Michael Jackson Thriller Dance ?
On Saturday October 29, Covent Garden sets the Halloween scene for zombie lovers to take part in a global recreation of the legendary Michael Jackson Thriller video.
At 10pm precisely, dancers will synchronize to perform the iconic routine simultaneously with thousands of zombies across the globe for the 10th annual Thrill the World.
There will be awards for the Worst-Dressed Best-Dancer and Dancer of the Decayed.
Over the years , zombies have travelled from near and far to take part in the London event, from countries such as China, Trinidad, Australia, Germany, Venezuela, Japan, Holland, USA and France.
Barbara Dagg flew from Ireland one year and danced to raise £265 in sponsorship for the NSPCC.
She said: “I had a blast. It was all great fun, well worth the journey from Dublin, and everyone I met there was lovely.”
Those traveling to last year’s event via Covent Garden tube station were greeted by some frightfully welcoming London Underground Zombie staff who also took part in the event.
This year is cause for double celebration. The Night Tube has arrived so after the event, zombies can travel on the underground “…all through the night.”

- Head to Covent Garden on the day for the VIP zombie treatment – make-up artists, hair stylists and choreography classes will transform you into a celebrity music video zombie in time for the worldwide dance
- The dance takes place on Saturday October, 29 at 10pm
