Fourteen-year-old Gabe has got the moves and is dancing his way to recovery. It’s how he spends his time at CS Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor.

“It makes me feel better because I don’t like being in a hospital room for too long,” said Gabe.

The 8th-grader was diagnosed with Leukemia back in January – but his mom says he is beating cancer with his resilience and a little help from the late Michael Jackson.

When he’s not in the room getting chemo, you can find him out in the hallway, with his headphones, busting a move. He says his favorite dance is the moonwalk.

“I started watching Michael Jackson’s videos and then I started trying to copy his moves,” said Gabe.

Gabe is now back home for a few weeks before his next treatment.
